Detroit: Become Human Quick Tips
- When completing a mission, remember to explore each nook and cranny that you can. This can lead to new evidence, useful items, and open up new paths for you to take each character down.
- Choices are important in Detroit: Become Human and the things that you say when dealing with people can drastically change the outcome of a character’s story. Keep this in mind throughout conversation and always try to find the best option that fits the way you’re playing each character.
- Complete the game before you go back and experiment with different paths. The flowchart system allows for a vastly unique experience for almost every player. If you don’t like a choice you make, then try to stick with it and continue the game until the end. While it might not be the best outcome you could get, you’ll enjoy the experience more than if you cherry-pick all of your answers the first time through.
- Replay the game. There is a ton of replay value here and each time that you play through the stories, the decisions you make can change the outcome drastically, giving you a unique experience each time. Big news may be on the way soon from Quantic Dream, the developer behind Detroit: Become Human and Heavy Rain. The studio hasn't developed a game since 2018's Detroit: Become Human, but if Quantic Dream director David Cage's recent tweet is any indication, fans could see new projects on the horizon some time in the near future.
In a tweet on Sunday, Cage wished fans a Happy New Year and wished everyone 'good health, passion, inspiration, fun, friends, love, hope, and all the things we missed so much in 2020.' Additionally, Cage teased that 2021 will be an 'exciting' year for Quantic Dream and 'our community,' though he didn't go into detail about what fans can expect. Cage did say that Quantic Dream is 'impatient' to share more, so the studio may not be keeping things under wraps for too long.
As Game Rant noted, if there is another Quantic Dream title on the horizon, it's likely to be something completely new. The AAA studio isn't known to revisit old concepts or make follow-ups to their games. In fact, back in 2015, Cage explained why the team had no plans for a sequel to its hit 2013 title Beyond: Two Souls during a Q&A with PlayStation. 'We love starting new ideas and exploring different directions game after game,' Cage said at the time. 'I know this is quite unusual in the industry, but we don't want to make the same game ten times, or feel too comfortable only doing things we know.'
Fans should be excited to see what Quantic Dream has in store, particularly considering its grand plans that have been announced within the last couple of years. Back in Jan. 2019, Quantic Dream expressed interest in developing a game engine that is compatible across all platforms, including PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox consoles. Quantic Dream has since worked to port some of its games to PC, including Detroit: Become Human in late 2019.
If Cage's 'exciting news' tweet sounds familiar, that's probably because he said the same thing about Quantic Dream in 2020 — and even attached the same photo of Detroit: Become Human protagonist Markus. Specifically, Cage teased that Quantic Dream had 'surprises' in store for 2020. One month later, the studio announced that after 23 years of working with publishers, its next title would be self-published. Will this year's upcoming news be just as big, or does Quantic Dream have an even bigger surprise in store?
