Adobe Fuse Cc
Design 3D characters for Photoshop down to the last detail by putting together the desired body parts, customizing physical traits and choosing clothes
The human body and facial expressions, in particular, pose a significant challenge to graphic designers. Creating a realistic human character for a game or an animation requires not only design experience but also a reliable software solution to work with. Aiming to provide a middle-ranged alternative between complex designing apps and simple animation tools, Adobe Fuse comes with a collection of predefined human body parts, clothes, and other items you can combine to obtain lifelike characters.
UPDATE: Adobe Fuse CC is janky and crashes because of this or that - but it might work for you. So far, the older Mixamo Fuse from Steam is quite stable.Orig. I just installed Adobe Fuse CC ( Beta) and after the installation is complete then the fuse application opened automatically and then I closed it and after some time I tried to open it but it's not launching.I tried to open Adobe Fuse CC ( Beta) from both my desktop and also from the creative cloud. Adobe Fuse CC (Beta) 1.0 beta. The new 3D modeling app lets you quickly create unique human characters for your Adobe Photoshop CC images, designs, prototypes and more. Quickly create characters using a library of high-quality 3D content, from faces and bodies to clothing and textures. Customize the color, texture and shape of over 280. To Auto-rig and animate characters made with Fuse 1.3 (or earlier version) export as an.obj from your current version of Fuse and upload to Mixamo.com Or, download the newest version of Adobe Fuse CC (Beta), free with an Adobe ID, and create a new character to upload to Mixamo.com. Adobe's November 2015 update of Creative Cloud included a preview program Adobe Fuse CC. A 3D character creator. Once the character is built, it can be transfered to Adobe Photoshop via CC Libraries. Further customization is possible in Photoshop and poses created through animation presets.
Create a character by customizing the available presets
There are four steps you have to take in order to build your model, namely assembling body parts, customizing the design, adding clothing, and changing textures.
You start by choosing a female or a male head, and as you make your selection, Adobe Fuse automatically proceeds to the torso, the legs, and the arms. Once you have your basic model, you can start customizing the size and shape of different areas of the body yourself or randomize all the available parameters. As such, you can obtain characters that look different, even if the application only comes with a limited number of faces and other body parts.
Dress up your model and enrich the default library with custom items
Once the body is ready, you can proceed to clothes. Adobe Fuse delivers a variate collection of tops, pants, shoes, hats, eyewear, gloves, and masks, so you have enough to go through and choose from. The library also includes several hair styles, both for women and men. All the clothing pieces are immediately visible in the preview area with the default color and texture. To modify any item, you must proceed to the next step, in the 'Texture' tab.
Adobe Fuse enables you to save any item in the model as a preset and use it later, be it a body type or a clothing object. Nevertheless, it does not allow you to create custom items unless you download and install the Content Creator Package (check the File menu), which lets you enrich the default library of Fuse with your own designs of a body, clothing pieces, and hair styles. Alternatively, you can import clothing, items, and characters.
Intuitive 3D modeling of characters, with options to export the result or build animations
Creating a character with Adobe Fuse is easy, and the results are rather impressive. Fuse can export either the textures in different configurations, or save the model as an OBJ file, which can be imported to other designing applications, for further editing.
Normally, thinking about movement and animation is the next step once your character is ready. Adobe Fuse has got that covered, as it can upload your character to the Mixamo (part of the Adobe family) online auto-rigger. This online animator renders the model, builds a skeleton and generates a preview of the movements, enabling you to apply control rig scripts and animate your character. Furthermore, it can generate animation-ready shapes that you can use with any other 3D animation app or game engine.
